Information on the planned launch of LNG terminal annual LNG regasification capacity allocation procedure

Klaipeda LNG Terminal Operator (hereinafter – “Company”) informs natural gas market participants about the planned announcement of the commencement of allocation of LNG Terminal annual LNG regasification capacity on the 21^st of September 2022.

Taking into account the provisions of the approved Regulations, the Company informs about the planned announcement of the invitation to submit applications for the acquisition of LNG Terminal annual LNG regasification capacity.  

• Start date of annual LNG regasification capacity allocation: 21^st September 2022.
• The opening date and time for submissions: 21^st September 2022 at 13:00 EET.
• The closing date and time for submissions: 3^rd October 2022 at 08:00 EET.
• Size of annual LNG regasification capacity to be allocated: up to 9 000 000 000 kWh.
• Annual LNG regasification capacity allocation period: 2023 Terminal Gas year (from 1^st January 2023 to 31^st December 2023).

Main information on the annual capacity allocation procedure is provided in AB Klaipedos nafta Regulations for the use of LNG terminal.

After the annual LNG regasification capacity allocation, the remaining unallocated capacity along with the estimated Spot capacity will be offered through the Spot capacity allocation procedure. Spot capacity will be allocated no earlier than 90 (ninety) calendar days and no later than 60 (sixty) calendar days prior the beginning of the requested month of Terminal capacity utilization.
