Klaipėda LNG terminal two spot cargoes capacities for August 2023 allocation starts

AB Klaipėdos nafta as LNG Terminal Operator (hereinafter – the Operator), announces that requests for Klaipeda LNG Terminal two spot cargoes capacities allocation are being accepted as of 5th of May, 2023 from 13:00 EET. With this announcement the Operator is keen to allocate capacities, which each cargo corresponds of one Conventional size cargo, scheduled on August 2023 (see below).
The requests for Spot Cargo Capacity will be accepted till:

1. Cargo which delivery date is August 20-21 till 5th June 2023 13:00 EET. Capacity Allocation is performed on a First-Come-First-Served principle.
2. Cargo which delivery date is August 30-31 till 30th June 2023 13:00 EET. Capacities are allocated on 2nd of July, 2023 or earlier if Operator indicates such possibility.

Spot cargo Capacity Allocation is performed on a First-Come-First-Served principle, detailed information about allocation of capacities please find the Regulations for use of Klaipeda LNG Terminal.

The main conditions of Spot Cargo Capacity Allocation:

• Size of spot cargo:  940 000 000 kWh +- 5%. Requests for different size of cargo are considered, however the priority is given to Conventional size of cargo.

Preliminary Spot cargo LNG regasification capacity usage period:

• Cargo on August 20-21 LNG regasification period from 6th of July till 2nd of September, 2023.
• Cargo on August 30-31 LNG regasification period from 1st of August till 25th of September, 2023.

LNG regasification period may differ if only one of two Spot cargo capacities will be allocated. Final monthly schedule will be announced at the time of drawing up the Monthly Schedule.

Spot cargo delivery window:

• August 20-21 or other, depends on how many Spot cargo capacity will be allocated;
• August 30-31 or other, depends on how many Spot cargo capacity will be allocated;
