Klaipedos Nafta’s eleven months cargo turnover has already exceeded the total volume of cargo reloaded last year

SC Klaipedos Nafta within 11 months of this year handled 5,76 million tons of oil products while throughout the last year it had been handled totally 5,5 million tons. Larger cargo flows led to 18 percent increased income.
 
SC Klaipedos Nafta through Klaipeda oil terminal and Subačius fuel base from January to November inclusively handled almost 5,8 million tons of cargo while last year over the same period – 4,9 million tons. During the past year the company totally processed 5,5 million tons of cargo, therefore this year`s cargo flow already exceeds last year's index.
November cargo turnover rate compared with November last year has been maintained at the same level.
 
“By observing the positive trends in the oil market this year, the company had taken the decision to invest in capacity increase and in November announced a tender for the new light oil product tank construction. Total investment is around 10 million Eur. Increasing the flexibility of the available capacity and development is our priority tasks of the next year,"- emphasizes Mantas Bartuška, SC Klaipedos Nafta CEO.
 
The Company’s operated liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in November regasified and supplied 382 thousand MWh of natural gas to the natural gas transmission system, and during 11 months – 4,372 million. MWh.
 
Within the 11 months Klaip4dos Nafta from the transshipment of oil products and other activities of Klaipeda oil terminal and Subačius fuel base received 36,1 million Eur income, which, when compared with the same period last year, is 18.8 percent higher. SC Klaipedos Nafta terminals along with the LNG terminal activities that are regulated by the state had gain income of 95,4 million Eur.
 
The State owns 72,32 percent of Klaipedos Nafta shares.
