The principles and concepts defined in KN Energies Code of Conduct embody the commitment to conducting our business globally with the highest levels of ethics and integrity. Code of Conduct describes the way we work at KN Energies and it guides us in business relationships. It contains our values and sets the standard for our actions and decision making. The Code helps us to build long term relationships with our colleagues, customers, suppliers, authorities, business partners, and other stakeholders.
The company is committed to conducting its business in accordance with the laws, rules and regulations applicable to its activities and in accordance with the highest standards of business ethics. The objective of the Anti-Corruption Policy is to ensure an effective, corruption-resilient environment in order to prevent manifestations of corruption within the Company, to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability at all levels of employee activity, and to strengthen the trust of business partners in the company.
The objective of Private Interest Management Policy is to establish an effective conflict of interest management system that allows timely identification of conflicts of interest, ensures objective and impartial decision-making, contributes to the creation of an environment resistant to corruption, and strengthens confidence in KN Energies.
Gift Policy establishes the rules for the practice of accepting and/or providing corporate gifts. The Policy elaborates on the implementation of KN Energies employees’ Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and regulates the appropriate acceptance of gifts from existing and potential business partners, customers and suppliers, the appropriate provision of gifts to existing and potential business partners, customers and suppliers, and the procedure for declaring and registering gifts, except cases where normative legal acts prohibit accepting and giving gifts.
KN Energies applies a zero-tolerance principle towards corruption and implements comprehensive prevention measures. Private interest links are declared, the integrity of employees and partners is verified, the national corruption prevention action plan is implemented, and employees’ anti-corruption competencies are continuously strengthened through training and awareness-building.
We aim to ensure that KN Energies makes transparent decisions that serve the public interest. Please refer to the list of positions whose holders are required to declare their private interests in accordance with the Law on the Coordination of Public and Private Interests of the Republic of Lithuania — submitting the required information through the Chief Official Ethics Commission (VTEK) register PINREG.
Private interests must also be declared by KN Energies employees involved in procurement processes.

By safeguarding employee integrity, we also create an environment that is more resilient to corruption. The Law on Corruption Prevention requires organisations to approve a list of positions for which a request must be submitted to the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania (STT) to obtain information about the candidate. The scope of information provided by the STT is defined by law.
To strengthen anti-corruption awareness and develop the necessary competencies, KN Energies organises a variety of educational activities – lectures, seminars, discussions, methodological support sessions, and other events aimed at fostering a corruption-resilient environment.
